Metals and Technology, Inc (PMT) is in the powdered metals business particularly
Neodymium-Iron-Boron (NdFeB) permanent magnet powders
and the design and production of permanent magnets and permanent magnet
assemblies. PMT
is also involved in the production and distribution of pure
titanium and Ti6Al4V alloy powders, nickel powders and powdered alloys
of the aerospace and industrial usage.
These activities are largely carried out in Russia through Pioneer Metals
International (PMI, 100% owned subsidiary) St.Petersburg and through Gradient
in Koroliov Moscow Region, a 50/50 joint venture with kompozit a leading
Russian materials company. In the US and the rest of the world PMT is heavily
involved in the commercial development of the Neo-Line of Neodymium-Iron-Boron
magnetic powder and magnets with special emphasis on low neodymium alloys
based on materials licensed from Philips Electronics of the Netherlands.
